Autumn is here & it’s time to cheer! 09.22.2017
Summer is coming to an end and I believe we are all ready to welcome autumn with open arms. Some cooler weather, less mosquitos and the perfect excuse to get the house cozy and begin baking!
The cherry on top of this amazing excuse to get baking, is my favorite brands, H&M & Zara Home, are launching their fall lines.
Last year here on the Wedding Cakes Marbella Blog we made Candy Apples…I always recommend visiting that recipe for some good times and yummy autumn treats…But this year we are changing things up a bit… we are decorating!
All brands seem to be stepping up their seasonal decor game this year; accents include velvet, silk and faux fur, plus luxurious jewel tones and natural elements like glass, stoneware wicker and wood elements.

Williams Sonoma Recipe: Walnut Biscotti with Sea Salt
Find step by step instructions to create this delicious biscotti recipe on the Williams Sonoma website.
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups (9 oz./280 g) all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 8 Tbs. (1 stick) (4 oz./125 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup (6 oz./185 g) firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup (4 oz./125 g) walnuts, coarsely chopped
- Flaky sea salt for sprinkling
